NCdjs needed a brand refresh. We had created their original logo and went back to work. Understanding events and peoeple’s needs was really important to us. DJ’s are being replaced by Pandora party mixes and playing music at a party is as easy as syncing a bluetooth speaker. No longer does a host have to have thousands of songs ready for playing. For the Moment- that’s what we came up with. It explained just about everything. Our job was to use that everywhere and reinforce the importance of the clients’ “Moment”.

We spoke to different people- Businesses with corporate events couldn’t be anymore different than Bridezillas that are planning weddings. We created subpages for each type of event, and have been growing the site from those anchor points. Every month we add a few pages and another vertical to the mix.

We have an email marketing system running directly on the website, indexing pages and adding users to lists. We also added an autoblogger to repost and add stories to the blog automatically. From there, the blog will also automatically post to social networks to help drive traffic to the site.

The Results

NCdjs brand refresh allowed us to fundamentally change how we interact and talk to customers. From now on, everything was themed to the client’s moment. From the warmth of the colors on the website, to the choice of words, everything was built to reinforce ‘The Moment’. The entire gallery is driven by hashtags on instagram, allowing Paul Walker, the owner, to both interact on social networks and post new images to his site simultaneously.

By segmenting out each customer, it allows us to help customers better and the content is finely tuned to visitors needs. This made our quality scores and effectiveness on Search and Social Marketing incredibly powerful. NCdjs isn’t done yet. We add a page a month, carefully and strategically growing Paul’s website and user reach.
